Doris Anderson is the owner and trainer of K9-BootCamp. She is a graduate of Animal Behavior College where she earned her certification (#17715) as an ABC Certified Dog Trainer. Her commitment to this program has provided her with formal education in canine obedience training and understanding of canine behavior and its motives. Her certification, education and experience are providing her skills required to effectively and humanely train your dog.

Doris Anderson, born and raised in Germany, has been an avid dog lover her entire life. She trained her own dogs, walked dogs and pet sitted dogs for the past 15 years. Doris Anderson loves to help owners establish a great relationship with their dog and educate them at the same time to better understand their canine companions.

Doris Anderson's training philosophy consists of positive reinforcement, which means using humane methods to train your dog or puppy to do what you want while developing mutual respect, trust and a special bond between dog and owner.

Furthermore, Doris Anderson is always improving her skills and knowledge with continuing education, attending seminars (Conferences of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, Turid Rugaas, Cesar Millan, TTouch, and Patricia McConnell), studying about canine behavior, working together with veterinarians and other dog trainers in the Charlotte area if needed to achieve the best results for you and your dog.
